PROPER USE FOR TOILETS AND URINALS:
Toilet Bowls: Simply add 6 - 8 ounces of ACID Magic to water in toilet bowl. Swish solution around in bowl with toilet brush, lightly scrubbing sides and under toilet rim to remove stains. Allow solution to sit in bowl for 3 - 5 minutes, then flush to rinse. Repeat if necessary to remove especially tough stains.

For Urinals: Remove strainer. Apply 6 - 8 ounces at top of urinal around water outlets using acid resistant spray bottle or sponge. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before continuing. Wearing gloves, gently scrub surface with natural, soft bristle brush or scouring pad. Flush to rinse. Tougher stains may require repeat application.

PROPER USE FOR SEPTIC SYSTEMS:
We do not recommend pouring ACID Magic directly into a septic system. ACID Magic has a very low pH that is not ideal for bacteria in a septic system. Use at your own risk. However, after speaking to septic system companies and lab testing, the following are our recommendations:

Septic system companies recommend minimizing the amount of chemicals that you put down your drains. They even suggest spraying chemicals on surfaces to minimize how much you use. As ACID Magic is used, the chemicals that go to work are spent in the process and by the time it reaches the septic system, it is diluted along with the water used to do the job. More of the product’s chemicals are used to clean PVC drains, further minimizing the amount of chemicals that actually reach the septic system. The best way to use ACID Magic for your toilet and to minimize its presence in a septic system:

DIRECTIONS: Do not drain your toilet. Pour ACID Magic on a sponge (approximately 2 ounces) and wipe directly on the toilet walls. Let it stand for 3 to 5 minutes or longer depending on the stain. Use a brush to scrub around the edges and where staining occurs. Once the stain has been removed, neutralize the solution.

NEUTRALIZING THE SOLUTION: Add three teaspoons (approximately 45 grams) of baking soda, one teaspoon at a time, to the toilet bowl. Use a brush to stir the solution after each additional teaspoon of baking soda. After adding the total amount of baking soda, flush the solution down the drain. Flush once more. Make sure to use plenty of water after using ACID Magic.
